Danny Graham
CEO
Danny founded Graham Builders in 1990. A strong visionary and business leader, Danny passed his presidency to Evan Fujimoto in 2010. Danny has served for various community and business groups including a term as President of the Building Industry Association. Danny enjoys seeing the world on his motorcycle when not at Graham Builders. This enjoyment of adventure and discovery, sometimes in solitude, is just another testament to his unique character. He is also dedicated to maintaining his health by exercising every day and encouraging his family and staff to do the same.
Evan Fujimoto
President
Evan has worked for Graham Builders since 1993. He started as a project manager and worked his way through the firm in estimating and design. His most recent position was Vice President of Operations; he was named President on January 1, 2010. Throughout a 27-year career in construction, Evan has been involved in the design and construction of hundreds of new homes, major renovations, and kitchen & bath remodels. Evan enjoys music, reading, and surfing in his free time. Dear to his heart are serving at his home church, New Hope Hawaii Kai, and his medical missions to Nepal. Evan also worked with at-risk youth at an orphanage in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. He plans on returning annually.
Ryan Graham
Vice President of Operations
Ryan Graham is responsible for developing preliminary and final estimates to help homeowners stay in budget. He has construction experience that started at the early age of 16, working as a laborer, carpenter’s apprentice, mason, loan officer, and project manager before moving to estimator. Ryan’s sock tan shows his passion for golf, which along with recreation, he plays to maintain healthy relationships with his coworkers and company subcontractors. Ryan also loves to fish and has an interest in cars.
Brian Moore
Business Development Manager
Brian Moore joined Graham Builders in spring 2012 as its Business Development Manager. He had been a Primary Relationship Officer in Bank of Hawaii’s Corporate Banking Division and previously spent 26 years at Honsador Lumber as Treasurer and Construction Bond Manager. Born and raised in Honolulu, Brian attended Punahou School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. Brian enjoys many activities including tennis, golf, swimming, hiking and walks on the beach with his Golden Retriever and likes to relax with good friends and good wine.
Faith Yamagishi
Controller
Faith was hired as Graham Builders’ controller in 2003. Under Faith’s keen financial eye, Graham Builders was able to build its investments while continuing to hold a strong financial position among Hawaii’s residential construction companies. Faith has recently discovered the fruits of technology by enjoying playing games on her phone. She also loves to play with her daughter’s dog, Nismo. Now that her kids are grown, she looks forward to pursuing new hobbies such as finding recipes and being successful (sometimes) at cooking them.
Mark Slivka, AIA LEED AP
Design Director, Architect
Mark is the Design Director at Graham Builders. He is tasked with creating, collaborating, and problem solving to achieve unique homes for clients. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture and has over 10 years of experience working for various architectural and design / build firms in Massachusetts and Hawaii. Mark enjoys staying healthy by playing ultimate frisbee, rock climbing and hiking, swimming and cooking great meals for his newly expanded family.
Noreen Kamiya
Sales and Marketing Manager
Being with Graham Builders for 10 years, Noreen has had the opportunity to experience the many phases of the design-build company. Previously, Noreen was a project coordinator but now manages the sales and marketing department. Noreen works closely with homeowners and is also responsible for organizing seminars, building shows, and company and charity events. Noreen’s congenial disposition is reflected in her simple passions. She loves to read a good book, watch a great movie and laugh out loud.
Renee Lee
Office Manager
Renee is the first point of public contact at Graham Builders. She answers phones, greets clients and visitors, and tends to the administrative needs of the staff. She also assists the controller with data input and accounting. Her coworkers would all agree, however, that besides bringing order and organization to their work day, Renee’s most valuable contribution is keeping them laughing. On her off time, Renee can be found watching reality shows, dining at various restaurants around town, and spending quality time with her family.
Keith Kilburn
Design Manager
Keith has over 18 years of architectural experience and has been with Graham Builders since 2002. Keith has recently been promoted to Design Manager, overseeing the design department as well as working on individual projects. Keith’s versatile skills and experience also allow him to play other roles in the company such as project manager and IT manager. During his free time, Keith enjoys hiking, fishing, and is an avid geocacher (a “high tech treasure hunt” game). He also enjoys helping out with his son’s Cub Scout pack and spending time with his family.
Jenny Graham
Project Coordinator
Jenny has been with Graham Builders for the past seven years working as a project coordinator. She guides homeowners from design through construction to ensure that their project stays on schedule and well documented. Before GBI, Jenny worked at Washington Mutual Bank in Colorado (where she is originally from) before moving to Honolulu. Jenny loves spending time in the kitchen cooking various types of food and drinking wine. Her coworkers and family members will all testify to the incredible dishes that come out of Jenny’s kitchen. She also enjoys gardening in her yard and playing with her dog, Tiger.
Doug Long
Project Manager
Doug has been working in the building and remodeling business for over 30 years. Besides being a carpenter, project manager, and estimator, he has also been a licensed general contractor since the mid 80′s. His valuable experience has been an asset to Graham Builders since 1998. In his spare time, Doug enjoys building `ukulele, volunteering with Olelo Community Television, and producing the cable TV series, “Uke Builders Workshop.” After completing two Peace Corps tours, Doug often returns to Africa, where he provides support to AIDS orphans.
Terry Ogimi
Project Manager
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry as a journeyman carpenter, project manager and licensed general contractor, Terry is a seasoned construction professional. Whether your project is a complex renovation or new home on a steep slope, Terry knows how to orchestrate resources to get the job done. Always looking for new challenges, Terry exhibits grace under pressure and provides a steady hand, mind and heart to see projects through to successful completion. When not doing the “heavy lifting” on job sites you can find Terry in his personal home gym pumping iron (“good stress-reliever,” he says) or coaching little league baseball. A Kaneohe native, Terry and his wife recently became grandparents, which didn’t stop them from becoming “parents” all over again with Jewell, their prized Shorty Bull!
