Home is where family comes together, and for this couple, creating a home that supported mulitple generations was at the heart of their remodeling project. As primary caregivers for one of their fathers, they wanted a home that allowed them to provide daily care while also creating spaces where everyone could enjoy comfort, independence, and privacy.

The renovation included a beautifully appointed new primary suite complete with a spacious bedroom and luxurious en suite bathroom, giving the couple a private retreat to relax and recharge. At the same time, the home’s layout was thoughtfully reimagined to better support everyday living with Dad, ensuring he remained close by while still maintaining his own sense of independence.

The kitchen and laundry room were completely remodeled to improve functionality, organization, and ease of use. By opening the living spaces and enhancing the flow throughout the home, the design created a brighter, more welcoming environment that makes gathering as a family and caring for a loved one feel effortless.

One of the home’s most thoughtful features is the motion-sensor lighting integrated into the kitchen’s toe-kick area. As evening falls, the subtle lighting automatically illuminates the floor, providing a safe pathway for nighttime trips to the kitchen without the need for harsh overhead lights. It’s a small detail that reflects the homeowners’ commitment to creating a home that is both beautiful and practical for every member of the family.
